Merchandise Return Procedure

Orders drop shipped to your location from Tire Rack are properly packaged to ensure that products are damage-free upon arrival and a correct fitment, as well. Please follow the steps below upon receipt of merchandise. The procedure is designed to make returns, should they be necessary, hassle-free for the customer.

  1. Inspect packaging upon delivery for obvious damage and note on delivery schedule. If a wheel/tire assembly arrives without packaging or the damage is apparent without removing the packaging, refuse the delivery for your customer as damaged.
  2. Upon opening package, inspect merchandise for hidden damage and to ensure product shipped matches the itemized invoice.
  3. If any damage is found, DO NOT INSTALL and DO NOT DISPOSE OF ANY PACKAGING MATERIALS! If the product is installed on a vehicle or the packaging is discarded the shipping company will no longer consider a claim for the damage.
  4. Ask the customer to contact Tire Rack's customer service team at 888-981-3953 and inform them of the damage. Tire Rack will make arrangements with the customer to correct the issue. Installers may not process returns or warranty claims.
  5. A Return Authorization (R/A) Number is required for all returns to ensure proper handling in our facilities and will be provided to the customer by Tire Rack's customer service team. Customer service will also provide special instructions to the customer for re-packaging the products for return. This does not apply to shipments refused prior to accepting and signing for delivery.

Due to the variety of possible issues, the exact procedure for return, replacement, and/or credit to the customer will be determined on a case-by-case basis by Tire Rack's customer service team.

IMPORTANT: Only unused product that has not been driven on is eligible for return.

Installers are asked to refrain from speculating on return details or possible procedures for the return. Tire Rack's customer service team will work diligently to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a positive installer experience.
